What a weekend it was, and not just the racing.......

Despite major technical difficulties, the photos are finally all processed and on the photo site. Fortunately, our service relies on several computers and a data backup system. After fixing the initial problem, we were able to recover and restore everything. Though the shop is a bit more of a mess today, and we could use a lot of sleep, we are back on track.
One good thing that came of this was we use the opportunity to test drive our new editing software. This shaved 2/3 of the time off processing, and will save us even more time in the future, as we get the functions programmed. We planned to integrated the new software later this month, but due to the “Meltdown” we decided to start it earlier.
The program is designed to do just what we need it to do, and much more. It can sort and process hundreds of photos in minutes, compared to the old system of editing photos individually, a process that took hours, in the past. The same program will help us, later this month, initialize a much needed search engine, allow you to search our site for photos by keywords. It will also allow publish directly to the site faster. In addition, we will be able to add slideshows, integrating both music and video, along with our photos to our Facebook page, as well as our main site.
